In addition to wrangling words, I’m also a Notary Public in the state of Pennsylvania. A mobile notary, no less! Need a document notarized but don’t have time to go find one? Let me come to you instead! Here’s the lowdown:

The fees for the actual notary process are set by the state:

  • Taking acknowledgement – $5.00
  • Taking acknowledgment (each additional name) – $2.00 
  • Administering oath or affirmation (per individual taking oath or affirmation) – $5.00
  • Taking verification on oath or affirmation (no matter how many signatures) – $5.00
  • Witnessing or attesting a signature (per signature) – $5.00
  • Certifying or attesting a copy or deposition (per certified copy) – $5.00
  • Noting a protest of a negotiable instrument (per page) – $3.00

Here are my travel fees, which are due when the services are rendered. Business hours are: 8a-6pm, Monday-Friday, 8-2 Saturday.

  • Within Muhlenberg township’s official boundaries, during business hours: $25
  • Outside Muhlenberg and up to 25 miles (one way) from 19560, during business hours: $50
    • Over 25 miles from 19560, during business hours: Starts at $75
  • Outside of business hours surcharge: $25
